IsoGuard® is our revolutionary timber protection oil that bonds with the wood at a cellular level to prevent damage. Unlike standard wood finishes, it does this without masking the natural character of the timber. Use these oils to refinish your oak furniture at home and keep it looking beautiful for longer. Neptune oak furniture comes protected with IsoGuard®, which is designed to last and won’t necessarily ever need refreshing. However, well-loved furniture may show signs of wear over time. In these cases, we recommend refreshing the finish every couple of years.
How to apply:
You will need sandpaper, sanding pads and a microfibre e-cloth. 1. Sand the entire surface of the furniture. 2. Vacuum and remove any dust with our Surface Soap. Wait until the surface is completely dry. 3. Stir the product before applying. Use the sanding pad to rub a small amount of oil into the wood grain in all directions. 4. Finish by rubbing in the direction of the grain. 5. Leave the oil on the wood for a few minutes. 6. Remove the excess oil using a clean microfibre. 7. The furniture will be completely dry and ready for use after 24 hours, but it won’t be fully cured for 20 days. 8. From five days after application, your furniture can be cleaned with water and soap.
